Wusongkou Internaitonal Cruise Terminal (Chinese: 吴淞口国际邮轮港) or Baoshan Cruise Terminal is located at Baoshan District in Shanghai, 24km from Shanghai city center. It shapes like an giant eyeball. It can accommodate two large passenger ships at the same time – one at 100,000 tons and the other at 200,000 tons. It provides anchorage for large international cruise liners (above 70,000 tons) on the Huangpu River at Wusong estuary, also for the temporarily docking for smaller cruise ships moving from Wusong estuary to the Shanghai Port International Cruise Terminal.

Shanghai Waigaoqiao International Cruise Terminal or Haitong Pier (Chinese:外高桥海通码头) is part of Shanghai Port, located at Waigaoqiao in Pudong New Area, 30km from downtown Shanghai.
Ships larger than 87,000 tons will not get to the Shanghai Port International Cruise Terminal, due to the low bridge on Huangpu River, and will have to berth at the scenic and relaxing terminal in Waigaoqiao or Wusongkou terminal. Waigaoqiao can handle four cruise ships at the same time.

Shanghai Port Internaitonal Cruise Terminal (Chinese:上海港国际客运中心), is a bubble-shaped glass building located on the Huangpu River in Hongkou District downtown Shanghai. It is the largest passengers cruise terminal in Shanghai. Three mid-sized cruise ships between 70,000 tons and 80,000 tons are able to berth at the same time and the annual capacity of the terminal is one million passengers.
It occupies an ideal position opposite the Lujiazui financial centre and is a few hundred meters from the Bund, enjoying a golden location, convenient transport links and an excellent connection to the surrounding tourist attractions.
